I Went to the Dentist Today
The poking. The picking. The pulling at your lips and nearly choking you with mirrors, prods and other instruments. And those sharp little x-ray panels that press against your palate. It's all kind of nasty. Or is it?
I'm wondering. Am I the only freak that actually likes going to the dentist?

It doesn't bother me at all. I actually just close my eyes and relax. The only thing I won't do is the fluoride. I hate that stuff.
Yep, you are the only freak that likes the dentist. When I was in braces I liked my Orthodontist better than I liked my dentist even though he hurt me more. I am not sure what it is, but I loath the dentist.
I don't mind it. I certainly don't hate it like so many people claim to.
The dentist doesn't bother me either. My uncle was my dentist growing up, so I've always been comfortable having my teeth worked on.
My kids, however, are another story. They're not huge fans.
Anything that lets me lay down and rest, away from the kids for a while, is good for me.
Our kids like the dentist's flat screen TV hooked up to his mouth cam to see the inside of their mouths.
I don't mind anymore. My dentist doesn't seem to hurt me as much as she use to.

Nah, you're not the only one. I even like the mint polish that they use to clean my teeth.
Since I am certain my dentist is going to be naming his new yacht after me, I should probably recuse myself from answering this one.
I know it is a necessary evil... but it is still evil.

haven't been in waaaay too long. My teeth suck, bad tooth genes and crappy habits growing up. I am doomed, doomed I say!
